  • u4gm Path of Exile 2 Raging Spirits Farming Tips Guide

When you first drop into Path of Exile 2 and you’re aiming for that Summon Raging Spirit setup, you’ll quickly realise it’s not the same song and dance as the first game. Spirit Gems are the name of the game now, and grabbing one takes a bit of know-how. You’re not just camping quest rewards anymore – it’s a straight grind, and smart farming matters.

From testing and chatting with other players, monsters with “Spirit-touched” or “Ethereal” mods seem to cough up the base currency way more often than standard mobs. You’ll run into these here and there in the story, usually in zones with a creepy ghost vibe – old crypts, shadowy graveyards, and the like – but the serious farming starts once you hit maps, and that’s when PoE 2 Currency farming becomes worth every bit of effort.

For maps, you’ll want open layouts where you can see most of the enemies at once. The faster you can zip through them, the more shots you have at those gems dropping. If you can, roll for extra mob density – the more bodies on screen, the better your odds. Avoid wasting time on chunky bosses unless they’ve got the Spirit-touched tag; their slow kill time will sink your loot-per-hour. Think of it as a pace game: keep moving, keep killing, and don’t get stuck.

Your build doesn’t need to be insane, but speed is king here. High movement speed and a good AoE skill will let you clear screens in seconds. You’re farming, not tackling Shaper – focus on flexibility and speed. The gem you’re actually chasing is an “Unsocketed Spirit Gem.” Once you snag one, there’s a specific NPC who rolls it into a usable Spirit skill, and you cross your fingers it’s Summon Raging Spirit. As usual with Path of Exile, RNG is part of the fun – or frustration – so expect to farm plenty.

When you’re blasting maps, keep your loot filter tight. No point clogging your inventory with junk; highlight Unsocketed Spirit Gems and anything else genuinely valuable. If you hit an in-map event like Legion or Breach, trigger it instantly – those explode into extra monsters, which means more drop chances. Keep your run smooth, and don’t stop to agonise over every rare item unless it’s truly worth it.

Farming for Summon Raging Spirit in PoE 2 is all about rhythm. Get into the clearing groove, pick the right maps, bump mob density, and keep your eyes peeled for Spirit-touched enemies. With some persistence – and a bit of luck from the RNG gods – you’ll build that army of fiery skulls faster than you think, and stacking path of exile 2 currency along the way will make the grind that much sweeter.
