Estimating Time for Painting a Small Room

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to repaint a 12x12 bedroom and trying to get a realistic idea of how long it might take. I have all the supplies ready: paint, brushes, rollers, and painter’s tape, but I’m not sure how much time to allocate.

I’ve heard that prep work like taping and covering furniture can take as long as painting itself. For someone working alone, can anyone share their experience? Specifically, I’m wondering how long does it take to paint a 12x12 room including trimming, two coats, and cleanup.
