  • u4gm ARC Raiders Workshop Upgrade Guide

You’ve made it back to your place intact – good sign. Now comes the bit that actually keeps you breathing. In ARC Raiders, your workshop isn’t just somewhere to stash your loot, it’s what keeps you from getting flattened out there. Ignore it and you’re basically asking to get wrecked by the next big ARC unit. The trick is to turn that mess of scrap into gear worth carrying. And yeah, you’ll be hanging around the ARC Raiders BluePrint whenever you want things done right.

First stop – the Weapon Bench. You’ll end up spending a lot of time here, trust me. This is where you take the gun you started with and make it actually useful. More punch, tighter recoil, bigger mags – all on the menu. But resources disappear fast when you start upgrading, so it’s about picking what matters most. Sometimes you just need extra stopping power, other times it’s better control so you can land more shots. It's all on you to decide, depending on how you like to fight.

Then you’ve got the Gadget Station. Easy to overlook, but don’t. The right gadget can pull you out of a fight you had no chance of winning. You can craft scanners to spot nearby threats or set up decoys to draw fire. Each upgrade can boost range, make them last longer, or even add extra abilities. A strong scanner makes creeping past patrols way less risky, and better gadgets mean you can mess with the enemy instead of just shooting at them.

Last, there’s the Armor Rig. Less exciting than a new gun scope, but it’s literally the thing keeping you alive. You can reinforce your plates to soak up more damage or slot mods to reduce stuff like explosive or energy hits. One good armor upgrade can be the difference between limping away from a fight and ending up staring at a respawn screen. The glamour’s in the weapons, but the real lifeline is the rig.

Of course, all this costs parts – loads of them. Rule number one? Loot everything you can. Breaking down junk gives you Scrap, and taking down ARC units gets you the juicy stuff like Components and rare ARC Shards. Different machines drop different loot, so you’ll start recognising what’s worth hunting for your builds. Yeah, it’s a grind, but watching that upgrade meter edge closer is addictive. Best bet? Pump your main gun up first – a harder-hitting weapon speeds up everything else. Then get yourself a decent healing gadget. Once that’s sorted, start building up your armour. The faster you secure those, the longer you’ll last when it all kicks off in BluePrint in ARC Raiders.
